Oracle database support

Remote Oracle DBA services, led by a DBA with 20+ years in production

Monitoring, patching, backups, high availability, performance and upgrades for your Oracle databases. A senior Oracle DBA owns your account, and an India-based team covers the hours your own staff can't.

Quick answer

What are remote Oracle DBA services?

Remote Oracle DBA services are Oracle database administration delivered by an outside team over secure remote access. They cover monitoring, patching, RMAN backups and restore tests, Data Guard and RAC, performance tuning, security reviews and upgrades, under business-hours, extended or 24/7 coverage. They complement, and do not replace, Oracle Support or a third-party support contract.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask us

What are remote Oracle DBA services?

Remote Oracle DBA services are database administration delivered by an outside team over secure remote access: monitoring, patching, backups, high availability, performance tuning and upgrades, under an agreed coverage level.

Do you provide 24/7 Oracle support?

Yes, as one of three coverage levels. Business-hours and extended-hours with on-call coverage are also available for systems that don't need round-the-clock monitoring.

Does remote DBA support replace Oracle Support?

No. Oracle Support (or a third-party support provider) supplies patches and vendor bug fixes. A remote DBA team does the day-to-day administration on your databases. Most companies need both.

How do you access our databases securely?

Through your VPN or bastion hosts with named accounts, multi-factor authentication and least-privilege roles. Access is logged and removed the same day someone leaves the engagement.

Can you support Oracle E-Business Suite?

Yes. Apps DBA work for EBS, including patching, cloning and performance troubleshooting, is part of the service.

How much do remote Oracle DBA services cost?

Pricing depends on the number of databases, environments, coverage level and complexity such as RAC or Data Guard. We quote a fixed monthly fee after the health check.
